The lime tree

The older she gets, the more the lime tree enjoys the recognition of relatives and friends.

It calmly and serenely accepts whatever life brings it. Trouble, struggle and hustle and bustle are her enemies, for she tends towards comfort, is gentle and yielding. She dreams of a life of prosperity, of goals that she cannot achieve. Life with her is pleasant because the lime tree is good and willing to sacrifice for all those close to her. It has many talents, but its abilities are usually not fully realised because it lacks perseverance. Some Lindens attach themselves firmly to other people.

In love, however, they rarely find the happiness they dream of. Caution: The lime tree is very jealous.
