In principle, a minimum stay of 2 nights has applied at the Steirerhof for many years. Of course, we also try to make it possible for our guests to stay just one night. This is always the case, but depends on the respective booking situation and the availability of the rooms and can therefore only be confirmed at short notice (approx. 1 week before arrival).

Arrival & Parking
What time can I arrive?

The rooms are guaranteed to be ready for occupancy from 3:00 p.m.. Early spa check-in is possible from 10.30 a.m., i.e. you can use the spa facilities from this time onwards at no extra charge (exception: stays of only 1 night). Changing rooms and lockable lockers are available for this purpose and your luggage will be deposited for you. We are also happy to invite you to a light lunch.
I am traveling by car - what parking options are available?

There is a large, free outdoor parking lot right next to the hotel, also with charging stations for electric cars. However, we kindly ask you to vacate this parking lot once you have finished charging.
We charge € 10 per day for parking in the underground garage. As electric cars are not allowed to enter the underground garage, there is a separate, covered e-carport for these vehicles. Here you can charge and park for the entire stay at a price of € 15 per day.
Is there a charging facility for electric cars?

Yes, you are welcome to charge your car during your stay with us.
There is an outdoor parking lot with free charging stations for electric cars right next to the hotel. After charging, however, we ask you to vacate this space for other electric cars.
As electric cars are not allowed to drive into the underground garage, there is a separate, covered e-carport. Here you can park and charge for your entire stay. Price € 15 per day.
To be on the safe side, we ask you to bring your own plug or cable for charging if we do not have a suitable connection available.
I am traveling by train - how do I get to the hotel?

What does "south-facing" or "west-facing" mean?

South-facing rooms have a view of our pool area and the garden.
West-facing rooms have a view of the Styrian hills with evening sun. For these rooms we charge an additional € 7 p.p.|night.
The Steirerhof also has rooms facing north and east, which have a view of the edge of the forest, the parking lot and the hotel driveway.

House dust allergy - are rooms without carpet available?

Yes, all rooms on the 4th floor as well as most double rooms de luxe and suites have a wooden floor. We can also provide you with bed linen for allergy sufferers.
We have set up special health rooms for house dust allergy sufferers, which are equipped with wooden floors and special materials. These have a wonderful view of the Styrian hills, as they are located on the 6th floor.

Is there WLAN in the room?

The Wi-Fi can be switched on and off individually. This is done using a switch next to the TV set. The TV does not need to be switched on for this!

The main focus of our hotel is on recreation, wellness and relaxation, and relaxation. The Steirerhof has always been run as an "adults only" hotel and therefore has no children's facilities. We are happy to accept reservations for children aged 12 and over.
Dogs

Vacations with a dog are always possible at the Steirerhof. Accommodation is in specially designed, ground-floor rooms with a small front garden. Due to the limited number of rooms, please book in advance. Dogs are not allowed in rooms on other floors.

The Bad Waltersdorf thermal water

This is a sodium hydrogen carbonate-chloride solution that has been stored at a depth of 1,200 meters for over 10,000 years and comes out of the spring at 62°C. It is one of the highest quality and gentlest thermal healing waters in Austria and unfolds its beneficial, healing effects at a temperature of 27 to 36°C.
The mineral-rich, particularly soft water with an optimal pH value has a deep effect on the body through its thermal, physical and chemical stimuli. In addition to its well-known regenerative effect, our healing thermal water is particularly effective as a supportive treatment for

Yes, we are happy to provide our guests with 20 bicycles | e-bikes free of charge so that they can get some exercise during their vacation.

The Steirerhof gourmet cuisine is full board, as we serve our culinary delights thoughtfully throughout the day. We focus on a pleasant, timed presentation of our specialties.

The communication tables are very popular, as each guest comes at different times - to suit their personal daily rhythm - so you are not tied down and can always find someone to talk to during the meal.
