Duck forest trail

Length 7.2 km
Walking time: 1:45 h
Markings: yellow-white-yellow

Starting point is the main square in Burgau - along the Herrengasse and Fürstenfelderstraße to the Leidensmann-chapel. Right on the Forsthausweg through the grove to the "Müllner Cross". Turn right here, continue straight on the gravel road, past the cattle pasture of the Borckenstein family. At the edge of the forest, you pass a simple barrier and continue to the double barrier at the end of the slope. Turn right here and follow the incline straight on until the fork in the road. Turn left and continue on the winding gravel road. You pass another barrier and the forest road with a slight slope leads to a narrow asphalt road, where you continue to the right. At the next forest road that leads to the right into the forest, turn off and follow it to a T-junction. Right up the slope to the next T-junction, here to the left, always straight ahead, past a house. After approx. 100 m, a grassy path branches off to the left again (barriers). Go downhill to the Ziegel-Pond, turn right at the fisching lodge and continue up to the Trinity Chapel and the pilgrimage church of Maria Gnadenbrunn. On the Kirchenweg and the Heinrich Dalla Rosa path continue to the starting point on the main square, past the bakery, the fire department and the blacksmith Eder.
