Starting point directly in front of the hotel

In the thermal region Bad Waltersdorf there is a dense network of cycle paths with 320 km of well-signposted, easy-going and varied bike tours - for amateur cyclists and cyclists.

As part of the activity program, guided tours are also offered, in which Hans Toberer and our guests explore the beauties of nature around Bad Walterdorf.

From the hotel via the R12 to Burgau and then into Burgenland to Burgauberg. From there via the Lahnbachradweg to Deutsch Kaltenbrunn - via the R12 Thermenradweg further to Speltenbach - here join the Feistritztalradweg to Fürstenfeld - continue to Söchau, where you join the Rittscheintalradweg - follow this to Breitenfeld - continue to the Schlösser-Radweg and follow this to Riegersburg. The return journey is via Neustift and St. Kind, Hainfeld and Großwilfersdorf, Lindegg, Bad Blumau, Kleinsteinbach and Leitersdorf back to Bad Waltersdorf to the Steirerhof.

This tour leads from Hartberg via Kaindorf, Ebersdorf and Hartl via Bad Waltersdorf and Buch-St. Magdalena back to Hartberg. The tour takes cyclists past popular culinary stops, points out shopping opportunities for regional products in the farm stores or by means of the 24-hour vending machines, and also offers the service of the regional SAM cab for pick-up. In addition, eight cycle rest stops have been newly built along the tour and equipped with comfortable seating and lounging facilities.
